The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of payroll process, IT skills as well as claim handling administrative responsibilities like Worker Comp and EDD. You will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of tasks and operations. To succeed in this role, you should be familiar using various software and tools. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the organization.ResponsibilitiesManage and process all payroll related activitiesManage and process all employee claims and benefit related activitiesMaintain records of personnel-related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are metLiaise with other departments or functions (scheduling etc.)Assist supervisors in claim and benefit management proceduresProduce and submit reports on general payroll and benefits activityAssist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedbackSupport other functions as assignedSkillsProven experience as a payroll processing specialist or relevant human resources/administrative positionKnowledge of benefits and claim processes (EDD, etc.) and best practicesStrong ability in using MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)Outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle data with confidentialityGood organizational and time management skillsAssociate degree or additional education in Human Resource Management will be a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: $18.00 - $28.00 per hour
