- Provide nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician, including data collection, patient monitoring, and documentation of responses.
- Perform patient care tasks aligned with individualized care plans, addressing physical, emotional, cultural, spiritual, psychosocial, and educational needs.
- Monitor and document vital signs, drains, dressings, lab values, and patient status; communicate changes to healthcare providers.
- Maintain accurate, confidential medical records, and ensure proper administration and documentation of medications.
- Utilize specialized equipment for data collection and orient patients and families to routines.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Completion of an accredited LPN program recognized by the State Board of Nursing.
- Minimum of one year of LPN experience or completion of a recognized nurse residency or transition program.
- Current LPN license recognized by NCSBN Compact or the state of practice.
- Ability to document accurately and communicate effectively.
- This is a non-management role reporting to a supervisor or manager.
- Work shift is during the day at a healthcare facility specializing in orthopedic surgery.
