Responsibilities include maintaining ARRT or ARMRIT certification, preparing patients, adhering to safety guidelines, reviewing images for quality, and documenting procedures accurately. The role involves instructing colleagues, providing patient education, practicing infection control, and operating MRI equipment and information systems.
Key skills required are knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, contrast protocols, emergency response, teamwork, communication, and task prioritization.
Minimum qualifications include ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, BLS certification, and IV competency. Preferred qualifications include 1-2 years of MRI experience and a bachelor's degree.
This position involves physical activity such as lifting, moving patients, standing for extended periods, and navigating busy clinical areas. The work schedule is a 7-on/7-off graveyard shift from 21:00-07:00.
