Infant Teacher's Aide

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Infant teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about early childhood education and committed to providing high-quality care.

Prerequisites

• At least 18 years of age
• 6 completed units in early childhood education

OR

• At least 18 years of age
• Enrolled in 2 units in early childhood education each semester following employment until fully qualified

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of Lead Teachers to implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children's natural curiosity.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to support a collaborative learning community.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that meets health and safety standards.

Skills

• Experience in a classroom or daycare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of infant care, toddler care, or babysitting is beneficial for understanding the developmental needs of young children.
• Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's interactions and learning experiences.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents, and staff effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth through creative teaching methods.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 per hour
