Chico Christian Preschool and Infant Center is seeking a caring and dedicated Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our team. We are a faith-based preschool providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment for young children.
As an Assistant Preschool Teacher, you will support lead teachers in creating a positive, engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages the growth and learning of our students.
Pay rate is dependent on your experience and education based on our pay scale.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
- Support lead teachers in maintaining an organized, safe, and welcoming classroom.
- Supervise children to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
- Help with classroom setup, cleanup, and preparation of materials.
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Has a relationship with Jesus and Christianity
- Minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units.
- Prior experience in a preschool setting is preferred but not required.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Must pass a background check as required by state regulations.

Pay: $16.75 - $17.60 per hour
