I am partnering with a fast-scaling renewable energy platform to hire a Senior Corporate Finance Analyst to join their finance team. The company is well-capitalized and expanding quickly through joint ventures with a major partner, alongside a growing pipeline of bids and RFPs across the solar sector.
This individual will be the third analyst on the Project Finance team, working directly with the VP of Project Finance and supporting underwriting, tax equity and construction financing workstreams. The position is ideal for someone with a couple years of solar experience who wants to build a broad corporate/project finance skillset in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
This is a particularly strong opportunity for someone who wants exposure to both corporate finance and project finance without being boxed into one lane. Depending on background and interest, the role can lean more toward corporate finance and HIG-sponsor underwriting, or more toward project finance work alongside the existing analyst team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support underwriting for institutional sponsorship
- Help manage a high volume of active appraisals through tax equity and construction financing stages
- Partner closely with the development team on live deals
- Build and maintain Excel-based financial models
- Take on broader corporate finance or project finance responsibilities depending on strengths and interest
- Operate effectively in a fast-paced, priority-shifting environment
Ideal Background
- A couple of years of solar experience
- Corporate finance or project finance background — either is a fit
- Strong Excel modeling ability
- Comfortable in a high-growth, fast-pivoting environment
- C&I or IPP experience is a plus
Location: Denver/Boulder preferred; also open to Chicago or NYC
Compensation: $120,000-$130,000 base bonus, with flexibility for the right candidate
