Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

Piper Companies is looking for a Senior DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This is a full-time position and onsite 3 days per week in Silver Spring, MD or RTP, NC.

Essential Duties of the Sr DevOps Infrastructure Engineer:

• Participate in efforts to design, build, manage, monitor enterprise infrastructure components & systems in a multi-tiered and highly available framework.
• Execute processes to ensure systems and/or solution achieve and maintain validation and/or qualification in accordance with regulations and guidance from the organization.
• Streamline and optimize infrastructure processes by designing, building, and maintaining an automation program.
• Deploy standard service packages, workloads, and resources on premise and in the cloud.
  
  

Qualifications of the Sr DevOps Infrastructure Engineer:

• 5-7 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and/or DevOps
• Recent experience in DevOps using technology such as Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, etc.
• Experience with IaC tool such as Azure DevOps or Terraform for pipelines and deployment.
• 2 years hands on experience managing and implementing infrastructure solutions leveraging multiple services within public cloud providers and/or cross platform APIs such as AWS, GCP, and/or Azure
• 1 years of experience working in an IT role in a biotech or pharmaceutical organization
  
  

Compensation for the Sr DevOps Infrastructure Engineer:

• $120,000 - $175,000 (based on experience)
• 2 days remote per week
