Job Overview
We are looking for a tree service climber / arborist crew leader that enjoys working outside, is dependable, highly motivated and can take on a leadership role. We are a local tree and landscaping business that is family owned and operated that is looking to expand our team.
Ideal qualifications include:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Able to operate various equipment operation (stump grinders, aerial platforms, bucket trucks, chainsaws)
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work well with a team
- CDL is a plus but not required
- Previous arborist / groundsman / landscape experience also a bonus
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in tree care and maintenance, including tree trimming and pruning.
- Operate and maintain bucket trucks and rigging equipment safely.
- Collaborate with team members to execute tree care tasks.
- Follow safety protocols while climbing and performing aerial work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and equipment used.
- Support certified arborists in assessing tree health and implementing care strategies.
