What you will do
- Attend industry networking events.
- Assist with teaming and preparation of proposals to win new contracts.
- Manage projects with State and Local Agencies from start to finish.
- Manage staff and subconsultants.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate each phase of the projects with stakeholders and contractors.
- Be the key contact with the client, and their consultants and representatives.
- Provide construction oversight or manage project daily activities when needed.
- Ability to mentor and train staff for leadership positions to help the department expand.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related program . Master’s Degree is a plus.
- Current Illinois Professional Engineer license required .
- Current Documentation of Quantities Certification is a plus.
- 10 years of experience in highway and roadway projects.
- Building and Roadway Construction Management experience.
- Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, and other agencies' systems and operations.
- Strong written and verbal skills, including public speaking.
Compensation
The compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and physical work location.

Salary : $166,400 - $187,200
