We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team of engineering professionals. Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Looks Like
- Performing duties as the Assistant Resident Engineer and assisting with delivering quality infrastructure projects for state, municipal, and private clients.
- Inspects and monitors field work daily activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
- Consults with contractors' superintendents on work progress and construction problems.
- Reviews equipment utilization data and time/cost estimates.
- Will ensure that where procedures and materials fail to meet requirements, it is properly documented both photographically and in writing.
- Monitor schedules, change orders, and daily reports.
- Perform facilities inspections as required.
- Knowledge of IDOT, CDOT, Tollway, and other agencies' systems and operations.
- Perform roadway inspections as required.

You’ll be a great fit if you have this:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related;
- Illinois Professional Engineer License required;
- IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities (DOCQ) Certification;
- Fluent with computer programs and software, including Microsoft Office, Adobe, Microstation, ePas, CmMS, Trimble eBuilder etc...;
- 10 years of experience with infrastructure construction management;
- Knowledge of State, Municipal, CTA, and Metra systems and operations;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to write routine technical reports and correspondence; and
- Self-Motivated and Ambitious.
Compensation:
The compensation range is a good-faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skill set, and licensure, technical expertise, business development capabilities, and overall alignment with the role.

Salary : $149,000 - $170,000
