What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Pinnacle Search?
Pinnacle Search is working with a Mocksville-based manufacturing company that needs a new HR Manager to lead their team. This person will be responsible for steering the HR function, formulating best practices for their personnel operations, and leading the existing HR team as they grow. Our client is an international manufacturing company and experience integrating international HR policies and US-based employment law would be helpful! This person will have a lot of autonomy to create and standardize policies for their HR department that will help the company as they scale.
KEY POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create or re-formulate established SOPs to reflect best practices for US employment law.
- Assist in headcount growth from 90 to 200 employees – focused on recruitment strategy, talent acquisition KPI creation, and standardization of employee onboarding experience.
- Manage budget for HR department.
- Assist in the development of human resources policies as they pertain to time and attendance, 401K program creation and implementation, hiring policy standardization, and compensation grading.
- Lead employee engagement events and create internal communications.
- Collaborate with the Center of Excellence for any overlapping needs with Lithuanian counterparts.
- Assist with the creation of the second and third shift - work to establish company as local Employer of Choice.
- Conduct market research to establish compensation bands for key positions to ensure they can serve as a top-employer in the area.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least three years of experience working in plant-based HR team
- At least five years of HR compliance and SOP creation experience
- Strong understanding of North Carolina employment law
- Experience managing departmental budget and charting HR strategy with minimal oversight
- Experience working with international teams and integrating global HR polices to local best practices
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in a more start-up HR department and building out procedures yourself
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certificate
- Experience processing payroll
- Experience creating, recruiting for, and managing personnel for off shift hours
- Soft Skills including: Adaptability, resilience, persistence, and internal motivation
- Software Experience: ADP, Workable, Jira

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
