What You'll Do

• Prepare and execute menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to quality, ensuring every plate meets Emmaline's standards.
• Set up, stock, and maintain your assigned station before, during, and after service for maximum efficiency.
• Follow standardized recipes, portioning, plating specifications, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness in accordance with company policies and health department regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary team to deliver exceptional food during lunch, dinner, banquets, and special events in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with daily food preparation, inventory management, product rotation (FIFO), labeling, and proper food storage.
• Monitor food quality throughout service and communicate proactively with chefs and teammates to ensure timely, accurate execution.
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties, including equipment cleaning and workstation organization.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude while contributing to a collaborative and respectful kitchen culture.
• Perform other culinary and kitchen-related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the restaurant.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for team members who are passionate about food, take pride in their work, and enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications:

• 1–2 years of line cook experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant preferred.
• Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain consistency during busy service periods.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
