Job Title: Athletics Coordinator

FLSA Status: Exempt - Full-Time/12 Month Position

Department: Athletics

Reports to: Director of Athletics

Position Commences: July 1, 2026

Position Overview
The Pine School is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Athletics Coordinator to join our Athletics Department in a full-time, 12-month position. This role is essential to the daily operations and long-term success of our athletic program and will provide administrative and organizational support across all middle school and upper school athletic teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in athletics, be highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with many moving parts. Strong interpersonal skills are a must, as this position requires working closely with students, coaches, faculty, staff, parents, and officials while contributing as part of a collaborative team.

The Athletics Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the smooth execution of athletic programming by supporting scheduling, communication, event logistics, and day-to-day department operations. This position helps create an organized, professional, and positive experience for all members of the PINE Athletics community.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working in athletics (school-based, collegiate, club, or related setting)

  • Strong communication and customer-service mindset
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Works well independently and as part of a greater team
  • Professional, flexible, and solution-oriented

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The role requires working in both office environments and outdoor athletic venues, often in various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a desk while working on a computer for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move equipment, boxes, or materials, usually ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
  • This position may require working evenings and weekends for athletic events
