Position Overview
The Pine School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Middle School Golf Coach to join our athletic staff. This role will provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to our middle school golf program, working closely with our Varsity Head Coach to ensure continuity and growth across all levels of play.
The ideal candidate will be a knowledgeable golf coach who is committed to developing players both on and off the course, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship. As part of our close-knit PINE community, the coach will play an important role in helping student-athletes grow in confidence, character, and competitive spirit while contributing to the overall success of the golf program.
Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications
- Experience coaching golf (school-based, collegiate, club, or related setting)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Strong communication and customer-service mindset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
- Works well independently and as part of a greater team
- Professional, flexible, and solution-oriented
Physical Requirements
- The role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move quickly to demonstrate drills or respond to situations.
- Must be able to lift and/or move equipment, boxes, or materials, usually ranging from 10 to 50 pounds.
- This position may require working evenings and weekends.
