Position: Professional Chef
We are seeking a talented, experienced, and driven Chef to lead our back-of-house team. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled culinarian but also a natural leader who respects tradition while striving for excellence.
What We're Looking For:
- Deep enthusiasm for Ukrainian cuisine and culture
- Proven experience in a culinary leadership role
- Strong understanding of Ukrainian and Eastern European culinary techniques and ingredients
- Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to excellence
- Culinary certification required; Ukrainian language skills are a plus
- Manager-level ServeSafe Certification is required (non-negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Design and prepare authentic Ukrainian and Eastern European dishes, with a focus on breakfast and lunch service
- Supervise and delegate BOH responsibilities effectively
- Hire, train, and develop kitchen staff
- Innovate and elevate menu offerings based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Effective leadership and communication abilities
- Must hold valid and current food safety certification (Manager-level)
- Hands-on experience with traditional Ukrainian cuisine is essential
- Culinary degree or formal training preferred
