Job Summary & Responsibilities:
- Home Office or Field based Project Manager depending on the project scope.
- Early engagement with the Preconstruction team during final stages of GMP development, long lead procurement and subtrade bid packaging and leveling.
- Take ownership of subtrade and vendor purchasing, supported accordingly.
- Manage home office-based support personnel (APM &/or Project Coordinator) for procurement, expediting, cost and document controls.
- Day to day collaboration with field personnel – Field Construction Managers &/or Field Superintendents to ensure timely & safe project delivery.
- At all times keep the client’s interest at the forefront of your planning and project execution.
- Develop a detailed work plan, update and maintain the Project Schedule
- Coordinating multiple tasks and teams to work together efficiently
- Managing and identifying potential risks and challenges, while developing strategies to mitigate them
Communication & Reporting:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects and subconsultants.
- Foster long-term client relationships through proactive communication and accountability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (M/E/P preferred).
- 6-10 combined years of field-based and office-based project management experience.
- Knowledge of construction means & methods.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Experience working on open book GMP projects – both CM@ Risk and design-build projects.
Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
