This is a salaried position-approximately 40 hours a week depending on the week and what programs are offered. You will be required to work a minimum of one Saturday a month for the monthly food distribution and or volunteer groups.
Monday 8:30am-5:00pm
Tuesday 8:30am-5:00pm
Wednesday 8:30am-7:00pm
Thursday 8:30am-5:00pm
Friday 8:00am-11:00am
Saturday Once a month 8:00am-1:00pm
Includes 1 week vacation accrued, accrued sick time, 6 paid holidays (New Years Day, July 4th, Patriots Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
Job Description
The Program Manager is in response to the increased demand over the past couple of years (with upwards of 950 families now walking through our doors every week).

Core Responsibilities
-work directly with the President regarding all programs
- learn and manage PantrySoft
-manage front food pantry including supervising volunteers and clients and keeping pantry clean and organized
-run daily meetings for all volunteers
-be the lead for all corporate group volunteer days
-be the inventory lead and work with accountant on yearlong and yearend inventory for all programs other than food
-complete HACCP sheets in AM and PM
-other duties as assigned

-Excellent organization skills
- Must be able to build relationships with volunteers, donors, partners, and staff; effectively lead volunteers of various personalities and backgrounds; and delegate tasks while still ensuring they are done correctly
-Coolness under pressure
- Must be able to handle stressful situations with a calm and positive attitude
- Compassionate motivation to serve those in need
-Creative problem solving
- Eagerness to explore and pursue new ideas to improve pantry
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Office, Google Workspace) required
Heavy lifting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Ability to be on your feet upwards of 6 hours a day

$37,500 a year salaried
