Job Mission
The Sales Administrator (SA) supports the Sales team and customers by ensuring effective communication between Sales, Engineering, and Marketing. This role is ideal for someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal Management:
- Present, track, and update proposal statuses in Salesforce; collaborate with Engineering.
Customer & Internal Communication:
- Follow up with customers and independent reps via email and phone ensuring updates are given across the necessary departments.
Administrative Support:
- Manage and update sales progress in Salesforce.
- Monitor and log customer correspondence promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure leads from marketing campaigns are updated in Salesforce.
Sales Process Support:
- Assist with RFQs; coordinate with Engineering and Parts departments.
- Ensure all sales communications and updates are reflected in systems and shared internally.
Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Marketing, and Finance to meet customer needs.
In this role you are required to act accordingly to the Piab Code of Conduct and know and follow the Piab values, mission and routines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-4 years' experience in sales and/or support.
- Experience in engineered solutions or industrial manufacturing preferred.
- Proficient with Salesforce or similar CRM (required).
- Familiarity with sales workflows and event logistics preferred.
Skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Advanced CRM skills; preference for extensive Salesforce experience.
- Strong reporting skills; able to generate, analyze, and present data.
- Able to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
