Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift to load and unload materials and deliveries while ensuring efficiency and safety in a warehouse setting.
Shifts:
- First shift: Monday - Friday - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload trucks with incoming and outgoing materials
- Perform routine maintenance checks on the forklift
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the work area
Experience:
- Prior experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role
- Proficiency in operating a Hi-Lo, order picker, or other types of forklifts
- Knowledge of warehouse management procedures
- Ability to perform equipment repairs and maintenance
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking
