Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Phoenix of Fairlawn is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to our residents in a warm, supportive, and professional environment.

Location: Phoenix of Fairlawn – 120 Brookmont Road, Akron, OH 44333

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience full benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed
• Manage ventilator-dependent residents, including equipment setup and monitoring
• Perform respiratory assessments and pulmonary function tests
• Monitor, document, and report patient progress accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care planning
• Educate patients and staff on respiratory therapies and equipment
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure safety and functionality
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the State of Ohio (RRT or CRT)
• Long-term care and/or vent unit experience preferred
• Strong clinical and assessment skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
