About the Role
As a Tire Vulcanization Technician, you will play a critical role in our production cycle by managing the transformation of raw materials into finished, high-quality products. You will be responsible for operating specialized machinery, ensuring precise curing processes, and maintaining equipment efficiency to meet our rigorous output standards.
Responsibilities- Execute the tire curing process by loading and unloading green tires into specialized press machinery while monitoring cycle status.
- Apply specialized coatings to green tires according to technical specifications to ensure product integrity.
- Manage the preparation of presses and tooling, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and ready for production runs.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including bladder changes and equipment troubleshooting, to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to 5S methodology to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Conduct final quality control inspections on finished tires to verify compliance with manufacturing standards.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to follow complex technical instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and experience with industrial equipment operation.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance and safety protocols.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial production environment.
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOM) and production documentation.
- Experience with material handling or forklift operation in a warehouse setting.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in a fast-paced environment.
