Precision CNC Machinist and Programmer

As a Precision CNC Machinist and Programmer, you will drive manufacturing excellence by developing complex machining processes for CNC Lathes, Swiss lathes, and Mills. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing production efficiency through advanced programming and the integration of robotic automation systems.

• Design and implement machining sequences, tooling arrangements, and setup instructions based on complex part drawings and specifications.
• Optimize production throughput by coding precise tool operations, feed rates, and speeds for high-tolerance components.
• Validate and prove out new programs by monitoring machine setups to ensure methodology, tooling, and quality standards are met.
• Drive continuous improvement by revising programs to correct deficiencies, enhance performance, and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop innovative tooling designs for new and existing production workflows.
• Maintain operational continuity by troubleshooting machining issues such as tool failure, surface finish inconsistencies, and chip management.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in manufacturing technology preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CNC programming, G-Code, M-Code, and GD&T standards.
• Extensive experience with multi-axis CNC Swiss Lathes and 5 axis CNC Lathes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation.
• Proven ability to utilize precision measurement instruments and specialized trade tools.
