Responsibilities- Execute independent setups and operation of stamping presses to maximize production throughput and part quality.
- Interpret complex blueprints and technical work instructions to ensure precise execution of production runs.
- Perform critical quality inspections using precision tools like micrometers and calipers to verify compliance with specifications.
- Proactively troubleshoot mechanical or die-related issues, coordinating with maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
- Stage materials and prepare tooling in advance to ensure seamless, uninterrupted production cycles.
- Document production data and setup procedures to foster consistency and operational excellence.
- Maintain a safe, organized workspace while adhering to all established safety protocols and compliance standards.
Required Skills
- 1 years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication or industrial press operation.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and performing quality control inspections.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with a focus on troubleshooting production equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with punch press technology, such as Amada systems.
