About the Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational uptime by maintaining complex electrical systems and high-voltage infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation to diagnose issues, optimize performance, and keep our production environment running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities- Install, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated electrical wiring, control panels, and industrial fixtures.
- Execute advanced troubleshooting on 3-phase 480V systems and PLC-driven equipment to minimize downtime.
- Program and maintain Allen Bradley and Fanuc control systems to support seamless production workflows.
- Conduct rigorous testing of electrical circuits using oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters to ensure system integrity.
- Perform essential rigging and equipment maintenance while adhering to strict safety protocols and PPE requirements.
- Collaborate with machine operators to identify root causes of mechanical or electrical malfunctions.
- Safely operate heavy equipment, including forklifts and manlifts, to access elevated work areas.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent, plus completion of an accredited trade school program.
- Valid Journeyperson certification or 8 years of documented professional experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair PLC systems and complex industrial circuitry.
- Demonstrated proficiency with hand and power tools in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with Fanuc robotics and automation integration.
- Strong understanding of NEC and federal electrical regulatory codes.
- Ability to interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
