About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Crane Technician to expertly inspect, diagnose, and repair a diverse range of crane equipment, including mobile cranes and boom trucks. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and safety of our equipment, contributing directly to operational efficiency. Your expertise in troubleshooting and maintenance will be highly valued.
Responsibilities- Conduct detailed inspections of cranes to identify defects and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and electrical systems in mobile and lattice cranes, ensuring optimal performance.
- Use precision instruments to assess component wear and determine necessary repairs or replacements.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to facilitate accurate and efficient repairs.
- Test and calibrate repaired equipment to meet OEM specifications and performance standards.
- Complete thorough annual inspections and maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional service and clear communication to address client needs effectively.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Two (2) years of experience as a Crane Mechanic/Technician.
- Experience with Grove RT & TMS Cranes, Grove GMK European Cranes, Manitowoc EPIC and/or Traditional Cranes, and National Boom Trucks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Basic computer skills.
