What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coordinator, Abbot Academy Fund position at Phillips Academy?
The Coordinator for the Abbot Academy Fund (AAF) works independently to support the officers and members of the board of directors; maintains all records of the fund, coordinates all aspects of the semi-annual board meetings, and works with proposers of grants and recipients of grants throughout the process.
The coordinator is responsible for managing the timeline for the Abbot Grant process, for processing all grant proposals and creating multiple reports for the board of directors through the FileMaker Pro database and the Submittable application platform. The successful candidate must be attentive to detail, well-organized, and able to work independently.
The coordinator reports to the President of the Abbot Academy Fund and the Abbot Academy Fund Community Liaison.
This is a part-time, non-benefits eligible position with the exception of those required by law. Number of hours varies from week to week. This position has a maximum of up to 500 hours per year.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of three years as an administrative assistant supporting senior level leaders or office manager or the equivalent.
