Temporary Grounds Workers

Salary Rate : $16 hourly

Phillips Academy seeks a temporary summer grounds worker. This position will assist the Grounds Crew with campus-wide landscape maintenance, including lawn mowing, string trimming, leaf and debris clean up, and shrub pruning/sheering. Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, c andidates will ideally be available to start in early May and work through mid to late August 2026.

Skills/requirements

• Experience using a push mover, string trimmer and/or zero-turn mower and pruning sheers preferred
• Must have the ability to operate lawn care equipment,
• Assist in leaf removal operations,
• Work in all weather conditions,
• Due to the nature of the job, candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Due to the use of power tools candidates must be 18 years of age.
• Valid driver's license.
