$50,000—$95,000 USD
This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Responsibilities
General
- Manage end-to-end budget management process; enforce workflow processes pertaining to client financial activity across all departments
- Act as primary contact for all internal and external budget management deliverables and questions - excluding Discrepancy Management and Vendor Payables
- Develop and implement sound business management policies and practices within the Finance Group
- Establish and nurture strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for all client budget management deliverables and troubleshooting as needed to meet client expectations
- Monitor and train staff involved in the various billing processes to ensure compliance of contractual obligations in the delivery of client services Client Financial Reporting
- Complete internal billing projections as directed by Finance Manager
- Work close with Account Leads to analyze sales pipeline
- Monthly re-forecasting of working version projections based on latest plans
- Monthly analysis of account performance (actuals versus forecast) including written variance analysis submitted to Corporate Finance
- Partner with Corporate finance counterparts to assist in monthly close to ensure proper revenue recognition (deferrals, accruals)
- Serve as financial liaison to senior management through the year providing analysis, support, and documentation of account performance, outlook and growth
- Manage and conduct Client Financial Audits Client Billing
- Ensure monthly and incremental fees are billed to the client
- Project manage one-off special requests as needed and at BPM discretion (i.e., vendor pre-pay)
- Project manage Client Accruals/Year-End Billing per client requirements
- Act as point of contact for all Finance Director questions
- For new clients, manage new client set-up with Finance Director
- Review client contract with Finance Director as BPM must have working knowledge of all fees, deliverables, nuances, etc.
- Meet with client as necessary to discuss account structure and billing/budget requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, with a major in Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 year’s work experience with hands on budget management experience, preferably within the media industry
- Prior client management experience preferred
- Be a team player, be bright, a quick learner, and good problem solver
- Strong proficiency utilizing Mediaplex (Mediabank) and Donovan Data System, with superior Excel skills
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Experience in a fast paced, client service environment with a high sense of urgency and positive attitude
- Knowledge of various media types network (television and radio), local, print, out-of-home, direct; most importantly digital
- Must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, is proactive, detail oriented, and must possess outstanding follow-through skills
