Peyton Resource Group has partnered with a growing telecommunications company to hire a Warehouse Specialist in Statesville, NC. This is a hands-on role receiving, storing, and shipping cable products, reels, and materials. It’s a one interview process, so it moves fast.
Pay & Schedule
- $40,000 to $45,000 per year
- Shifts: 7am to 4pm or 7:30am to 4:30pm

What You’ll Do
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks daily to load, unload, and move cable reels and materials
- Receive incoming shipments and inspect them for quantity and damage
- Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment
- Scan and track inventory using warehouse management systems
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory audits
- Keep shipping and receiving paperwork accurate
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
What You Need
- Forklift experience in a warehouse setting (required)
- 1 year of warehouse experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in varying temperatures
- Basic computer and barcode scanner skills
- Reliable attendance
Nice to Have
- Forklift certification
- Cable, wire, telecom, or electrical products experience
- Shipping, receiving, and inventory control experience
Overtime or weekends may be needed based on business needs.
Salary : $40,000 - $45,000
