🚧 Now Hiring: Mechanical / Cooling Estimator (Data Center Infrastructure focus)
Petroplan is supporting a major construction company in search for a mid-level Estimator to support data center infrastructure projects - specifically the cooling, mechanical, civil, and associated E&I scope outside the data center building.
Responsibilities
- Estimating cooling & mechanical equipment (chillers, piping, related systems)
- Civil work tied to that equipment (earthwork, foundations, concrete pads, site prep)
- Associated Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) for mechanical systems
- Supporting estimates for mission-critical infrastructure supporting data centers
Qualifications
- ~5-7 years of industry experience
- Background estimating mechanical equipment outside of buildings
- Working knowledge of E&I related to mechanical systems
- Exposure to civil scopes tied to equipment installation
- Data center experience is a plus but not required
