- Advanced terminal degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in an agency, the pharmaceutical industry, or a related scientific or medical writing position. 1-2 years of recent experience leading medical communications accounts in oncology and/or hematology and at least 1 year of recent strategic experience in oncology/hematology. Demonstration of success in pitching new products to potential clients.
Summary
- The Associate Medical Director, Medical Science Strategy, will provide leadership and expertise in content development, aligning with clients and experts, and drive the strategic direction of the product. S/he will develop content o high quality across an account and proactively recommend additional tactics. S/he will also coordinate project plans and resources in collaboration with Client Services and Project Management, and work to ensure timely and efficient achievement of project milestones. The individual plays a critical role in managing client and physician satisfaction and relationships. S/he will support the development of the team and optimization of team operation. S/he may develop and lead a team to meet capacity requirements on accounts. In addition, this role is responsible for support of business development and pitching for new clients. All MSS roles directly support clients through content generation and strategy.
