Summary Of Position

As an Analyst I, you will collect, analyze, and organize Medicaid pharmacy data into databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with guidelines. Responsibilities include monitoring Medicaid policy changes, verifying data, performing backups, and providing data support to internal teams. The role also involves mentoring junior team members on best practices.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

• Research and transfer data from Medicaid pharmacy websites into computer files or database systems.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop and maintain databases to store and organize data.
• Verify data by comparing it to source documents.
• Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested from internal executives.
• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.
• Monitor changes in Medicaid policies and regulations.
• Understand and apply research processes and guidelines to ensure accurate and efficient work execution.
  
  

Occasional Duties & Responsibilities

• Travel as needed for company related events.
• Professional development as needed.
• Provide support across various functions and contributing to tasks outside of primary responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
  
  

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to remain seated for extended periods while performing desk-based tasks.
• Ability to use a computer and related office equipment (keyboard, mouse, phone, etc.) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds for occasional office tasks (e.g., moving files, setting up equipment, etc.).
• Ability to occasionally walk, bend, or stoop to access files or office equipment.
• Good vision and manual dexterity to handle paperwork, documents, and office technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, via phone, and in writing with colleagues and clients.
  
  

Requirements

Educational and/or Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  
  

Preferred Educational And/or Experience Requirements

• Knowledge of touch-typing system is strongly preferred.
• Experience as data entry clerk, pharmacy clerk or pharmacy technician.
