A leading AmLaw 50 firm is seeking a driven Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated and high-profile M&A transactions in the technology and life sciences sectors, advising both public and private companies on strategic deals of global impact.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
- 3–5 years of substantive experience handling public and private company M&A and other strategic transactions
- Experience serving as an integral associate on M&A transactions
- Demonstrated ability to draft definitive transaction agreements and manage due diligence, disclosure letters, and closing processes
- Skilled in coordinating with subject-matter experts and managing client relationships
- Prior AmLaw or similarly sophisticated law firm experience preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to negotiate
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a key team member on complex M&A transactions in the technology and life sciences sectors
- Draft and review transaction documents, including definitive agreements, disclosure letters, and closing deliverables
- Conduct due diligence and oversee process management across all phases of a deal
- Coordinate with subject-matter experts across disciplines to address transaction-related issues
- Support senior attorneys and clients in structuring, negotiating, and executing strategic transactions
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships through responsive and solution-oriented service

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $260,000 – $365,000, commensurate with experience
