SENIOR ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY - CHANCERY LITIGATION

A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a senior-level Associate Attorney to join its nationally-recognized Chancery Litigation Practice Group in Wilmington. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of high-profile governance disputes in Delaware’s influential courts.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Delaware, in good standing.
• 6 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on Delaware Chancery Court matters.
• Chancery Experience: Demonstrated experience handling shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and corporate governance issues.
• Broader Litigation Skillset: Additional experience with commercial or securities litigation is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation and collaborate closely with clients and senior attorneys.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to contribute meaningfully in high-stakes, fast-paced litigation environments.
• Soft Skills: Excellent writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills; attention to detail; and teamwork are essential.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Represent clients in high-level corporate and commercial litigation before Delaware’s Chancery Court, as well as Delaware Superior, Supreme, and District Courts.
• Handle shareholder disputes, governance controversies, fiduciary duty claims, and related matters.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs; manage discovery; and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Partner with senior litigators and clients to develop effective litigation strategies and solutions.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive Compensation: Includes an annual salary range of $275,000 – $330,000, commensurate with experience and market conditions.
