The team operates at the center of high‑stakes matters in which personnel issues directly influence enterprise value, leadership continuity, and post‑closing integration. The successful hire will support a sophisticated transactional and advisory team where employment law, executive mobility, and corporate dealmaking intersect.
The ideal candidate will have had experience with employment laws and regulations in connection with M&A transactions, leadership transitions, restrictive covenant matters, and other sensitive personnel issues that emerge during and after significant corporate events.
Examples include:
- Supporting labor and employment diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and private equity investments
- Drafting and negotiating executive employment agreements, separation arrangements, and restrictive covenant agreements
- Advising on executive mobility issues, including structuring and enforceability of non‑compete and non‑solicitation obligations
- Assisting with post‑transaction workforce integration, including executive transitions and sensitive personnel matters
- Partnering with senior executives and corporate leadership on personnel and governance issues requiring discretion and strategic judgment
- Collaborating with corporate deal teams and private equity sponsors on employment matters affecting transaction value and risk allocation
