Position Description:
Our client is seeking an Associate to join its Antitrust Team in their Washington, DC office. This position offers the opportunity to represent national and international clients across all phases of federal and state antitrust matters, including DOJ and FTC investigations, civil and class action litigation, counseling, and merger review and clearance.
Successful candidates will have two to four years of antitrust experience gained in a government or law firm setting. Relevant experience may include antitrust investigations or litigation, M&A and merger clearance, and/or counseling. Prior antitrust experience working with the Department of Justice (DOJ) or the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is strongly preferred.
Experience with HSR matters, working with state attorneys general, taking or defending depositions, or participating in oral argument is a plus. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and well‑developed writing and analytical abilities.
Active membership in the Washington, DC bar is required.
