Direct Counsel is seeking a 2nd–5th Year Transactional Antitrust Associate to join a leading Am Law 100 firm with a rapidly growing, nationally recognized Antitrust and Competition practice. This is a unique opportunity to work on high-profile matters with top attorneys in the field.
Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in government antitrust investigations and merger enforcement actions, including Second Requests.

Counsel clients on transactional antitrust risk, strategy, and compliance.

Appear before enforcement authorities such as the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Trade Commission, and state Attorneys General.

Collaborate with a team of experienced antitrust practitioners in handling complex and high-stakes matters.
Qualifications:

2–5 years of experience in antitrust and competition law, including government merger reviews and investigations.

Strong background advising clients on transactional antitrust issues.

Bar admission (or eligibility for admission) in New York or Washington, D.C. (Note: While the team is considering candidates in D.C., there is a particular focus on building the group in New York).

Excellent written, oral, and analytical skills.
Compensation:
The expected salary range for this position is $235,000–$365,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
