Position Description:
Our client is seeking an associate to join its Real Estate practice. In this role, you will work on complex real estate and real estate finance matters representing property owners and investors, including transactions involving institutional lenders, private equity firms, and developers across multiple asset classes.
Qualified candidates should be comfortable drafting and negotiating core transaction documents and managing matters from inception through closing and post-closing.The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-8 years of experience representing lenders or borrowers in sophisticated real estate debt and related transactions
- Experience with one or more of the following: acquisition financings, mezzanine financings, construction financings, refinancings and loan modifications, joint ventures and other equity arrangements
- Strong academic credentials and prior law firm experience
- Excellent writing, communication, and problem-solving skills
