The role
Immediate Need: Part-Time Accounting Consultant (U.S. GAAP, ASC, SEC)
- Part-time contractor role: 20–30 hours per week
- Flexible: remote, hybrid, or on-site
- Compensation: up to $55/hour based on experience
The role
- Work closely with bookkeeping staff and review financial statements for GAAP compliance
- Research complex accounting issues and stay current on GAAP developments
- Assist with U.S. GAAP audits
- Lead occasional workshops and provide guidance on GAAP topics
- Communicate directly with international clients
- College Degree in Accounting with 5 years of experience
- Strong U.S. GAAP expertise
- Skilled in financial statement preparation and analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience working with international clients is a plus
- CPA license (or in progress)
- Public accounting background
- Proficiency with QuickBooks, Excel, CCH Engagement
- Previous professional services experience
