Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Coordinator to oversee the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical building systems in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the continuous performance of facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, water, and mechanical systems, while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership experience, and the ability to respond effectively to operational challenges in a 24/7 environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee building systems, including HVAC, boilers, electrical, plumbing, and water systems
- Ensure operational uptime and reliability of critical infrastructure
- Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Troubleshoot facility issues and respond to emergency situations as needed
- Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, safety policies, and PPE requirements
- Manage vendors, service contracts, and maintenance budgets
- Support facility upgrades, installations, and expansion projects
- Provide leadership and hands-on support to maintenance personnel
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and operational documentation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5 years of facilities, plant operations, industrial, healthcare, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, boilers, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Experience with maintenance planning and troubleshooting
- Vendor management and budget oversight experience
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment
- 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- 5 days per week
