We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of building systems and critical infrastructure in a fast-paced 24/7 environment. This role focuses on maintaining uptime, preventive maintenance, compliance, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee building systems including HVAC, electrical, steam/boiler, water, compressed air, and mechanical infrastructure
- Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Monitor system performance and proactively address operational risks
- Support uninterrupted facility operations and respond to system failures
- Lead troubleshooting efforts during maintenance and emergencies
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and audit requirements
- Manage vendors, service contracts, and maintenance activities
- Support budget planning and capital improvement projects
- Assist with equipment installation and facility expansion initiatives
- Work alongside technicians when needed to resolve issues quickly
- Maintain accurate documentation of inspections and repairs
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5 years of facilities, plant, or equipment management experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, steam systems, boilers, electrical, water, and mechanical systems
- Experience managing preventive maintenance programs
- Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Experience managing vendors, contractors, and maintenance budgets
- Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Technical certifications, OSHA training, or related credentials preferred
