Our client, a leading international freight forwarder, is seeking an experienced Licensed Customs Broker to join their growing Houston office. This role is responsible for ensuring full compliance with U.S. Customs regulations while managing customs clearances for a diverse portfolio of air and ocean import shipments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and submit customs entries for air and ocean imports
- Ensure compliance with CBP regulations, HTS classification, PGA requirements, and trade regulations
- Manage customs clearances from arrival through final release
- Resolve Customs holds, examinations, and documentation discrepancies
- Provide customs guidance to customers and internal operations teams
- Liaise with CBP, government agencies, importers, and carriers
- Maintain accurate records and support post-entry audits and compliance reviews
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while delivering exceptional service
Requirements:
- Active U.S. Customs Broker License (required)
- Previous experience within an international freight forwarding environment
- Strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS classification, ISF, PGA, and import compliance
- Experience handling air and ocean import customs entries
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using CargoWise or a similar freight forwarding system is highly desirable
