Our client is seeking an experienced Air & Ocean Import Coordinator to join their operations team based in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will manage and coordinate the end-to-end import process for both air and ocean shipments, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in CargoWise.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage air and ocean import shipments from origin to destination.
- Prepare, review, and process all import documentation including bills of lading, invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
- Maintain compliance with U.S. customs regulations and trade compliance requirements.
- Communicate proactively with carriers, customs brokers, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations.
- Track shipments, provide updates to clients, and resolve any issues or delays.
- Enter and manage shipment information in CargoWise accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize import processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in import coordination for air and ocean freight.
- Proficiency in CargoWise is required.
- Strong understanding of U.S. import regulations, customs clearance procedures, and documentation.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
