This role is responsible for coordinating air and ocean export operations, ensuring compliance with international shipping regulations, maintaining excellent customer service, and working closely with carriers, overseas agents, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate shipment execution.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate air and ocean export shipments
- Prepare export documentation including AWBs, bills of lading, and AES filings
- Book shipments with airlines, steamship lines, and trucking providers
- Track shipments and provide customer updates
- Ensure compliance with export regulations
- Communicate with customers, carriers, and overseas agents
- Handle billing and shipment records accurately
Qualifications
- 2 years of freight forwarding experience
- Air and ocean export experience preferred
- Knowledge of export documentation and AES filings
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with freight forwarding software is a plus
