Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking to final departure and delivery
• Communicate with overseas agents, carriers, customs brokers, and domestic vendors
• Prepare and review shipping documents including Bills of Lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export regulations and international trade requirements
• Track and update shipment status, proactively resolving delays or issues
• Coordinate with carriers and terminals to ensure smooth cargo handling and departure
• Arrange inland transportation to port of loading
• Provide shipment updates to clients in a timely and professional manner
• Enter and maintain accurate shipment data in internal systems
• Support billing and invoicing processes related to shipments
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs and service standards

Qualifications & Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in ocean export operations (freight forwarding)
• Strong understanding of international logistics and export procedures
• Experience with ocean freight documentation and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with carrier booking systems and freight management platforms
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
