They are looking for someone who is experienced, knowledgeable and is able to work alone.Monday - Friday & Saturdays if need it2nd shift ( Mandatory training during 1st shift for 1-2 weeks)Overtime if neededPay range $ 25.00 - $30.00 DOETemp to hireJob OverviewThis position is a maintenance technician role within the Maintenance Department and is primarily responsible for overseeing maintenance functions. The Maintenance is Responsible for the maintenance, and the repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems. Preventive maintenance of major/minor repairs and modifications to plant equipment and related machinery for the manufacturing of product for a large fresh bakery facility. Maintaining equipment performances during operations in order to minimize downtime and ensure maximum efficiency and reliability of the equipment. Follow State and Federal OSHA safety regulations and also facility procedures and operating standards. Job Functions: - Inspections for routine preventive maintenance 10%,- Troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures, to determine corrective action required (replacement of parts) 50%,- Conduct facility repairs and clean ups in and around building 25%, Perform various fabrication tasks 10%, - Overhaul and repair spare parts 10%,- dis-assembly and reassembly of line machinery and line set up 25%Requirements:Must possess maintenance mechanic skills with electrical background.Knowledge of AC-DC motors and associated controls; single and 3 phase wiring distribution systems, lighting systems, and computer control systems.Ability to install new systems to include conduit, control panels, wiring, and motor controls.Able to work in restricted areas, climb ladders and platforms, working at high levelHave the ability to lift heavy components.Good written and verbal communication skills.Be able to read and understand electrical, mechanical schematics, and diagrams.Must be flexible, willing to work overtime on occasion, and may be asked to work swing or graveyard shift.Ability to work with others in a team environment.Ability to work unsupervised with written instructions.Able to read wiring schematicsMust have good electrical skills in 120, 240, 480, volts both single and three phase.Can troubleshoot wiring, motor controls, sensors and photo eyes.Must have good working skills on pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; climb stairs; balance awkward positions; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; for lengthy period time.At times employee may have to use their hands to handle, or feel objects that may be in an area that is unseen, and control tools in areas such as theseEmployees may need to extend and reach out with hands and arms to accomplish certain tasks work in areas;The employee must occasionally lift and/or move and on occasion hold for a few minutes up to 25 pounds in awkward positions.Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.Work hours in excess of forty (40) hours will be required on occasion.Job Type: Full-timeCompany DescriptionSpecializing in the placement of professionals in the logistics & manufacturing world, People First Employment can help you find the job you need to get to the next level!
