CNC Machinist Operator

Job description:We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate responsible for loading raw materials, operating CNC machines, and monitoring production to ensure parts meet quality and safety standards. The CNC programmer will be responsible for continue improvement through reading and interpreting technical blueprints, performing quality checks on the final product.Monday - Friday1st shift: 6am-2:30m2nd shift 3:00PM-11:30PMPay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hourCNC Machine Operator must possess the ability to perform the following:Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or other equipment) according to established procedures.Load and unload parts and materials safely and efficiently.Monitor machine operations to detect issues, such as tool wear or part defects.Perform basic measurements using calipers, micrometers, or gauges to verify part dimensions.Complete production records and inspection documentation as required.Communicate any machine or quality issues to supervisors or setup personnel.Keep work area clean and organized; always follow safety guidelines.Perform a minimum of one complete set-up per day on a CNC machine in the Operator’s department.Load feed mechanisms by lifting stock into position.Verify settings by measuring positions, first-article, and sample workpieces, adhering to international and company standards.Maintain specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; replacing worn tools; adhering to company’s quality assurance procedures and processes.Minimum Qualification and Experience Requirement:High school diploma or GED.Previous experience operating CNC machineryBasic ability to read blueprints or work instructions.Familiarity with basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, rCompany DescriptionSpecializing in the placement of professionals in the logistics & manufacturing world, People First Employment can help you find the job you need to get to the next level!
