Human Resources Generalist

People Architects is excited to recruit a Human Resources Generalist who enjoys working with people as much as they enjoy solving problems.

Position Summary:

You'll partner closely with employees and leaders across the organization, helping teams navigate change, strengthen engagement, and build a positive employee experience while supporting the day-to-day HR needs of the business

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted resource for employee questions, workplace concerns, and HR support.
• Partner with supervisors on performance management, attendance, employee relations, conflict resolution, and corrective action.
• Coach leaders on communication, policy application, and people management best practices.
• Support investigations and maintain fair, consistent, and well-documented outcomes.
• Promote employee engagement, accountability, safety, and positive workplace culture.
• Provide HR support for hourly and salaried employees in a manufacturing environments.
• Support recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate coordination, screening, and onboarding.
• Maintain accurate HRIS records and employee documentation.
• Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.
• Track and report HR metrics including turnover, attendance, and hiring activity.
• Support remote operations, including occasional travel up to 20%.
• Coordinate onboarding and ongoing employee training initiatives.
• Assist with leadership development and compliance training programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
• Participate in HR projects, employee engagement initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications (required and preferred):

• 5 years of HR Generalist, HR Business Partner, or People Operations experience.
• Strong employee relations and workforce support experience.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% overnight.
• Manufacturing industry experience.
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
• Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee population.
• Experience with HRIS systems, onboarding, and compliance training.
• Experience leading employee engagement or process improvement initiatives.
