Penn United Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Drafter to prepare, maintain and organize customer supplied and internal prints as a member of our Carbide Engineering support team. Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical drawings utilizing notes and specifications, drafting systems and Photoshop workstations
- Review, convert or update prints in accordance with team delivery goals and convert metric drawings to English
- Collaborate with manufacturing/operations on the flow of prints
- Assist in training other engineers and personnel on efficient ways to use Photoshop and patterns
- Maintain and organize engineering prints and files
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Accreditation from a technical school or applicable skilled trades program, preferred
- Strong understanding of technical drawing principles, measurements and materials
- High level of computer, technical, mechanical and mathematical skills
- Solid Ability to read blueprints and work with Photoshop software, preferred
- GD & T familiarity, preferred
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and deadlines
- Able to work and communicate well with coworkers and customers at a professional level
- Must be a US Person as defined as being either 1) a United States citizen or 2) a lawful permanent resident ("Green Card" or "Alien Registration Card" holder). US Citizenship or lawful permanent resident status is REQUIRED as per ITAR- International Traffic in Arms Regulations
