Location: In personRotational Mold Operator Responsibilities:
- Operate rotational molding machines safely and efficiently to produce high-quality plastic parts
- Develop a strong understanding of machine operation, tooling, and related equipment
- Measure, prepare, and load molding materials accurately for each production cycle
- Open and close molds using proper tools and techniques to ensure consistent production
- Clean mold flanges and remove excess plastic to ensure proper sealing and part quality
- Load powder into molds, verify vents are clear, and secure molds using clamps or bolts
- Cycle molds through ovens and monitor curing and cooling processes
- Remove finished parts from molds, ensuring parts are free from damage or contamination
- Perform secondary operations such as trimming, foaming, assembly, graphics application, and packaging
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience with electrical, pneumatic, or industrial hand tools
- Ability to safely maneuver molds weighing 75 pounds or more using lifting equipment such as forklifts or hoists
- Previous rotational molding experience preferred but not required
- Ability to meet physical demands including lifting, standing, bending, and repetitive motion
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety guidelines
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday through Friday, 1st shift
